Synopsis:
When things seem to be going better than usual, you’d better make sure you aren’t just dreaming.

AL is a compulsive daydreamer. He has wild fantasies about being a hero and saving scantily dressed women in distress. In reality, Al is a dork who spends way too much time at his computer.

Going nowhere slowly, Al is beginning to accept his fate of being a loser. Then his luck takes a sudden turn for the better when he meets Jeanie.

As the two fall in love, Al develops a sense of confidence he's never had.

But Al soon discovers that even true love comes with a few problems. Jeanie has a gambling habit that has gotten her into a big debt and her bookie wants the payment immediately.

Al finds himself becoming deeper and deeper involved. He also surprises himself with his ability to stay one step ahead of the bookie.

But there’s one thing that keeps nagging at Al. He isn't positive if Jeanie and the bookie are real or just a product of his overheated imagination.
