Synopsis: Each year, the nation’s top sports magazines send the world’s top supermodels to exotic locations to shoot a swimsuit issue. This is not their story. “Swimsuit: The Movie” is a hilarious Baywatch/Sports Illustrated parody about a group of models shooting a swimsuit calendar for Allway Chemical, a global conglomerate attempting to put positive spin on defective breast implants, synthetic food substitutes and ecological disasters. As Allway executives wage a battle for corporate integrity, the swimsuit shoot runs into bad luck, thanks to an alcoholic British photographer, a deranged choreographer and models with bad hair and worse attitudes. Whether posing in a loft, frolicking on a polluted beach or trampling a protected rainforest, these off-the-wall layouts lend new meaning to the term politically incorrect and create a hilarious, mean-spirited rivalry over Cast: Crew: Comedy | 35mm | 83 minutes | 1997 | USA |
