Synopsis: God’s Forgotten House is an emotionally charged drama that follows John Phillips (Curtis NySmith) – a young, privileged, white man - who is court-ordered to work in a home for trouble youth in New York’s Harlem. As John reluctantly goes to work at the group home, he doesn’t mix well with the kids or the staff, including his supervisor (N’Bushe Wright). Getting a first-hand look at the choices these kids are making on a day-to-day basis, John becomes deeper involved in their world. “A strong piece of work. Great performances. An intelligent film.” “A standout production that deserves wide distribution.” Accolade Awards: Cast: Crew: |
