Synopsis:
An epic adventure told in the tradition of Shakespeare & Kurasawa, Ancient Tale is a beautiful, non-stop action film about love, loss, loyalty, betrayal. Set in the 9th century, a duchess plots to make her son the next king. But the duchess is an ex-slave and thus her son is also a slave and can’t inherit the kingdom.
