OUR MISSION STATEMENT

THE MISSION: We’re representing films at the major film markets (Cannes Film Festival/Market, the American Film Market, Berlin) as well as smaller markets (NATPE in Las Vegas, DIFF in Italy, Eurasia in Turkey). Buyers from all over the world attend these markets & visit our booths. We have the opportunity to sell the film to individual territories as well as to sell the film outright – all rights, all territories – to a distributor.

Inbetween markets, our sales team works to place films for domestic & international release.

THE FILMS: We’re interested in ALL GENRES and all types of film (narratives, docs, shorts, animation). Some films will be catered to the market and some films will be represented for the simple reason we feel it’s a film that needs to be represented.

THE MONEY: Phil Gorn is an independent filmmaker and has experienced many deals in the last 10 years. His earlier dealings usually ended with him seeing no money whatsoever. He’s signed deals with distributors and – although on paper it looked as if he was receiving 75% or even 80% - the expenses always seemed to be higher than the money owed. That’s the reality of the independent filmmaker – at least the reality for many of the independent filmmakers we know.

We’re not hiding all of the filmmaker’s earnings in the never-ending loophole that is so fondly known as “expenses.” We want the filmmakers of the world - who have their film in the closet rather than on the shelf at Blockbuster - to make a chunk of money. Our contract is straightforward, simple and requires (relatively) little obligation.

THE CONTRACT: We're asking for a three-year contract -- a minimal commitment with a minimal risk (compared to the standard 5, 7, 10 or even 20-year contract). We also provide an easy-out clause after 1 year as we don’t want to hold filmmakers who aren’t satisfied.

THE FILMMAKER: The filmmaker will provide the movie, trailer, one-sheets, and any other promotional material.

SUBMISSIONS: Please send a DVD or VHS screener to:

Please include a trailer and a poster (of any size) if you have them.

If you'd like to email us something or if you have your film, trailer and/or artwork on a website, (save a tree) and we'll check it out.

We’re flexible and open to changes so if there are questions/concerns/ideas, let us know.

Here’s to making a chunk of change for all parties involved so we can all go out and make our next movie.
